How often do i need to replace my clutch?

i need to know how often i need to change my clutchHow often do i need to replace my clutch?
If you don't ride (drive with your foot on the clutch) or slip it a lot.... the car should wear out before the clutch will. I have one with 187,000 miles and never changed the clutch and it never gave any problems. Now if you pull a trailer a lot then do expect to change the clutch... but if you pull a heavy load there may be other problems sooner the normal also. How often do i need to replace my clutch?
it varies on different vehicles. if it is a cable operated clutch the bite gets lower and lower until you can't disengage anymore. that is time to replace clutch. i would expect an average car to last 40,000 before replacing clutch but it depends how it has been driven.
It all depends how how much abuse it gets, if u slip the clutch a lot eg instead of applying the hand brake on a hill u keep it in gear and slip the clutch revving the engine slightly so it keeps the car from rolling back ..Unless the clutch is slipping ( when u are trying to pull away in gear and the engine just revs without motion) if it is slipping then u need a new one as its burned out ..

hope this helps.
Actually, you don't fix things until they become broken!

';BRILLIANT';!!!!
you should replace it when you feel it slipping

you will notice it when it starts to take alot longer to get into gear
that depends on how hard you are on them.
whenever it starts making a funny noise, or just wait till it goes out then do it
