How easy is it to change the clutch on a Rover 400, 2 litre turbo diesel 1998 model?

Not Bad, Gear linkage is Bastart taek of Left hant suspension suport gerabox ant engin as Left hant engin mounts haf to com of. Yu need exact siez short paralel pin punch for gearchange roll pin, hit it rapid with smal hamer, . oterwis apart from be hevy is not too bads.How easy is it to change the clutch on a Rover 400, 2 litre turbo diesel 1998 model?

Since you have a Rover ; Normally it is a 4x4 which means its a lot harder to replace the the clutch than a 2 wheel drive! The good news is that its not as hard to replace the clutch as a front wheel drive. If you have enough friends with mechanical background and some needed tools you can do it. Otherwise you need to pay someone to do it.
It's impossible due to the fact it would cost more than the car is worth. End of the day....... It's a Rover 400.



Also the 400 means it's worth in penny's...... Sorry ; )
As clutch replacements go, it's one of the easier ones (if you have the equipment). At least you don't have to remove a subframe.
